This summer of weddings has been one for the books! I will slowly be catching up on my blogging from this past season, so lets get started! I’m so excited to be sharing Jeff + Ariele’s summer Tyler Gardens wedding celebration. These two officially tied the knot last year, but due to Covid, we were really able to have a grand party this time! This was my first time capturing a Tyler Gardens wedding this year and it was so stunning! Especially with Jeff and Ariele as my main subjects – they were such sweet people and radiated joy the entire time!
Summer Tyler Gardens Wedding
Before I move on to the sneak peek of their beautiful wedding, I just have to share this. So, when a couple books with me, I send them a few questionnaires during our time together, to get to know them better! One question I ask, is to tell me a few things you love about your person. And sheesh, their answers were so beautiful I just had to share!
“Jeff is the most thoughtful, kind and caring man. I love how much he cares about everyone in his life. We are the silliest together. I love how goofy and funny he is. We can laugh and have the best time doing anything. He is my favorite person!” – Ariele, about her husband.
“Ari is like sunshine! She lights up every room she walks into with her bubbly charm and infectious laughter. Her bright smile can make anyone feel welcomed. Once you get to know her, you can’t help but be warmed by her loving and caring personality.” – Jeff, about his wife.
I mean… how adorable is that?! I love that so much! Anyhoo, I hope you love this little peek into their stunning summer wedding at Tyler Gardens! Congratulations again, Mr. and Mrs. Fleming! I’m so grateful to have captured this day!
The couple will say “I do” in June at Parque in Newtown Square.
Be prepared, just roll with it, and be flexible — all good tips when planning any wedding-related festivities, particularly during a year in which the world’s projected to see more Big Days than in the past three decades. So this couple was smart when they booked their wedding venue, Parque Ridley Creek, before even getting engaged. They’ll say “I do” next month. But first, a look back at how the groom popped the question and their Tyler Gardens engagement-photo session, with imagery by Emily Wren.
The couple: Kristen Konski, in business operations management for Jaguar Land Rover, and Stephen Keller, a tech sales professional at Salesforce, both 33, of Hoboken
How they met: Kristen and Stephen have Kristen’s friend Jeana to thank for bringing them together. Jeana had recently started a job at Salesforce, where Stephen worked. After Jeana found out he was single and fit her pal’s “type,” she convinced Kristen — a former New York Jets cheerleader who was teaching at the Bar Method at the time — to give him a chance. Despite her hesitancy (Kristen was jaded after too many bad relationships), she let Jeana share her number with Stephen, who reached out for a date.
It took a few weeks to get it on the calendar — Kristen says that time in her life was akin to the film 27 Dresses, filled with friends’ bachelorette parties, bridal or baby showers, and weddings — but that first date at Soho House in NYC was the start of forever.
The attire: Because the scenery at Tyler Gardens is so beautiful, the couple chose to keep their looks timeless and simple — and nod to their blush, ivory and gold color scheme. Kristen donned an A-line ivory maxi dress with pink florals. “I didn’t want to go with anything too stylish as trends fade and don’t always photograph well.”
Stephen donned khakis, a white button-down and a blue blazer.
A final wedding note: The pair has this to say about their upcoming nuptials: “Just like the past two years, our planning process was unconventional and anything but normal.” But here at Philadelphia Wedding, we think unique approaches make the best stories — and we’d love to hear yours, toohttps://www.phillymag.com/philadelphia-wedding/2022/05/09/tyler-gardens-engagement-photos/
Tyler Gardens is a new venue in Bucks County, PA with tons of beautiful European charm, gardens, grounds and a stunning old-world feel! We are such big fans of the elegant European aesthetic, which makes this venue a new favorite of ours! It’s even better to have it in our local area here in Philly
We teamed up with an amazing group of creatives before Tyler Gardens was even officially open to showcase the beautiful property + inspire couples planning their weddings! Courtney + Steve brought their sweet Great Dane pup along and I am pretty much obsessed with the dress/ pup shot below! Special thanks to Open Aire Affairs, Belovely Florals + Design, Maggpie Vintage Rentals, BHLDN, Tyler Gardens, Lauren Saba Hair, Underground Artistry Makeup, L Priori Jewelry and Papertree Studio! Keep an eye out on Style Me Pretty soon as well!
Alicia and Mike are true lovers of the outdoors- they love camping, hiking picnics and Mike even asked Alicia to be his wife at the peak of a mountaintop. So an outdoor wedding was an absolute must for these two as they planned their wedding day, so it makes sense that these two fell in love with Tyler Gardens as their wedding venue. As soon as you step foot onto the property, you are instantly enveloped into a European garden with climbing greenery, fountains galore, and a view to fall in love with. Alicia and Michael wanted the elegance of the venue, paired with their laidback families and friends for an elevated garden party to remember!
Tyler Gardens, a wedding venue tucked gently inside the grounds of Bucks County Community College. Surrounded by a lush landscape and old-world buildings, the french and Italian inspired gardens are sought after by couples across the Philadelphia area.
Since Open Aire Affairs took over the wedding aspect of the grounds, each year their summer Open House attracts couples and vendors alike as they flock among the colorful florals, dreaming up luxurious wedding plans for the year ahead.
This year, vendors planned an elegant french romance shoot featuring 3 different models wearing glamourous gowns, over-the-top florals, and fine art stationery. Photographer, Yana Shellman shares her portion of the shoot with us

As larger gathering of people outdoors is becoming permissible across the country and in the mid-Atlantic region as the COVID-19 pandemic moves on, I talked with RaeChani Wilson of Open Aire Affairs about how they are planning to get their weddings & events up and running safely. Open Aire Affairs manages multiple venues in the Philadelphia area that have large outdoor tented areas, so I thought they would be the perfect company to have on to discuss how to open up safely. Rae goes into how they plan to keep guests safe, how they are working with their couples to move and plan their dates through all of this, and how they, with a partnership with Newtown Party Rental, are working to help business and other venues have tented areas to keep people safe. It’s a really great episode, and Rae & the entire team at Open Aire Affairs are some of the best people you are going to meet in the Philadelphia wedding world!
This beautiful outdoor garden ceremony is proof that if you want a beautiful destination, sometimes you might find that destination in your own backyard …
“Kyle proposed to me in Florence, Italy. Italy has always been a special place for us. We had just started dating when I traveled to Florence in May 2013 to complete an eight week study abroad program. Kyle happened to be backpacking through Europe with his best friend at the same time, and they made a stop in Florence. We spent four days exploring the city together. On the last night, we were walking back to my apartment and Kyle stopped me in the middle of the rain soaked cobblestone street and kissed me. It was in that exact moment that I knew I loved him. Four years later we returned to Florence for a two week vacation, and Kyle proposed to me at Piazzale Michelangelo, a picturesque terrace overlooking the beautiful city where it all began…”
What was your wedding vision? We really wanted to have an outdoor wedding that was elegant, yet not too formal. Tyler Gardens checked all of the important boxes for us. It was so much more than your typical wedding venue with it’s old world charm, stone staircases, and beautiful landscaping. The location was close to Kyle’s parent’s house, which worked really well for us as Kyle’s mom and sister did all of our flowers and decorations.
Tell us about your attire choices. While I sifted through endless color options for bridesmaids dresses, Kyle was set on wearing a blue suit from the start. He found the mystic blue suit at Generation Tux and I based all of my subsequent color choices around that. The mystic blue suit fit really well with the look that we were going for; elegant, yet not too formal. Picking out my dress was surprisingly easy. I wasn’t committed to any particular style beforehand, which was helpful as I was able to see what a variety of different styles looked like on me. As cliche as it sounds, as soon as I tried on my wedding dress I knew it was “the one.” The process of finding my dress was so much fun, and was surprisingly one of the easier decisions to make during the wedding planning process.
What was the most important to you while you were planning? The venue, photographer, food, and my dress were most important to us. We wanted to provide our guests with an elegant event that was different than a traditional country club style, which Tyler Gardens definitely provides. We also wanted a photographer whose style would match the beauty of the venue. Maria’s work with the various levels and landscapes of the venue proved to be an amazing choice. The only item we splurged on was a string trio for the ceremony. This wasn’t in the original plan but we decided to add it after seeing one at a friend’s wedding.
Favorite parts of the day? There are three memories that stand out the most to us. The first was our first look. We went back and forth on whether or not we should do a first look, and I couldn’t be happier that we did. Having that private moment together to see each other for the first time was so special. It was personal, emotional, and the perfect way to start off the day. My second favorite memory was during the ceremony. Our two year old nephew, Declan, was our ring bearer. Being that he was only two years old, we had no idea what to expect of him when it came to walking down the aisle. His dad, Kyle’s brother, was our officiant, so we were hoping Declan would be comforted by seeing him and would agree to walk down the aisle. Declan ended up completely stealing the show (and everyone’s heart). He excitedly ran down the aisle, arms wide open, screaming “Daddy!” before jumping into his dad’s arms. It was one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. Our third favorite memory was during cocktail hour, when Kyle and I were finishing up our second round of photos. We were standing at the top of the stairs that overlook the gardens and we saw all of our family and friends down at cocktail hour. There were people from all stages of our lives who traveled from all over the world just to be there with us. There isn’t any other time when you will have all of those people together in one room and we are so grateful to have been able to share our special day with all of them.
What did you do for favors? In lieu of favors, we chose to make a donation to Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a non-profit organization that raises money for pediatric cancer research. This was extremely meaningful to me, as I work with many families impacted by pediatric cancer in my career as a child life specialist.
Tell us about any special or personal details. Kyle’s mom and sister handled all decorations and flowers, which proved to be quite the project and came out better than we ever could have dreamed of. Finding the decorations consisted of the two of them visiting Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, and other similar stores for over a year to find pieces that fit with our decor vision. One major piece was also found at a nearby barn that sells second hand wood pieces. We would frequently get texts asking “What do you think of this piece?” from both of them. The most amazing part is what they produced based on a vision we described with a few photos and verbally. What they were able to put together was amazing and nobody could believe the level of care and detail that went into their work. Similarly, the flowers were created based on us showing a few photographs of what we wanted and they also came out perfect. For the year leading up to the wedding, each time we travelled back to Kyle’s parent’s house there would be test centerpieces, bouquets, and other flowers for us to see. A few days before the wedding, Kyle and his mom even drove to Costco to pick up all the flowers and greens needed to bring the whole project to life; they barely fit in the car! It was truly amazing what they were able to do and we can’t thank them enough!
My flowers were wrapped in the lace from my mom’s dress and my mom’s wedding hat was used as part of the decorations.
Advice? Try to enjoy the planning process, and don’t stress too much over the small stuff!

The best of friends over a decade ago, Kiamarie and David would lose touch as their lives ventured down different paths. As they lost each other, Kiamarie would also lose her home, her job, her mother and her will to push forward through life’s ups and downs. David would suffer similar hardships. As nearly a decade passed, the two would pick up the pieces of their lives and find their way back to one another as a chance meeting out one night brought an instant connection between them once again. This time would be different though because they would become inseparable…
Pretty much love at first sight! They decided to celebrate this magical moment and their love for one another with a couple’s session photographed by the amazingly talented Lauren Fairin the beautiful location of Tyler Gardens. Kiamarie, now a successful and established wedding photographer herself (KSS Photography), knew this session with David had to be endearing. She incorporated lush large blooms in a colorful and beautiful bouquet to display her happiness and joy to be back with the man of her dreams, balloons to remind them of their younger playful days and laser cutouts with the saying “you’re my person” which was a surprise to David and how she told him he truly had her heart forever. Destined to be, the two NOW have each others hearts once again forever and always like meant to be soulmates.

Sometimes two people just seem meant for each other. In the case of these two adorable clients, an ocean couldn’t keep them apart. This was our first half Swedish wedding. Which just literally meant the wedding was 1/2 Swedes. Pretty much the nicest people we have ever met. This was also the first Swedish, let alone any, wedding at the new TYLER GARDENS venue in Newtown, PA. The venue is gorgeous. The staff was great. The couple was incredible. It was a pretty perfect wedding. Special thanks to Lauren, again, for knocking it out of the park second shooting. Take a look!
